Fleet Maintenance Planning
The close-knit fleet maintenance planning team is responsible for the management of aircraft technical records, the creation, development and control of aircraft maintenance programmes, long term planning, as well as the day-to-day support of aircraft fleets working closely with the Maintenance Control Centre.
Maintenance Planning Engineers assessing maintenance requirements and advise clients on the potential of blending routine maintenance with modifications to ensure effective and efficient use of downtime.

Rolling planning forecasts are performed to ensure continued airworthiness can be demonstrated for every aircraft and its equipment.

The technical document review, as well as some reliability investigations and feedback to technical groups of vendors and OEMs, are part of the duties of the Maintenance Planning engineers.

With the EASA proposed changes in mind, this section forms the “airline customer” section of the customer –service provider model relationship between the 145 organisation and the airline.
